Tour A: Albi & Cordes-sur-Ciel & Gaillac
Albi — Historic Riverside City
Albi is a city in southern France famed for its remarkable red-brick architecture and riverside setting on the Tarn. Its historic centre, known as the Cité épiscopale, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding medieval and Renaissance buildings, including the towering Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile and the fortified Berbie Palace, which illustrate the power and cultural richness of Albi’s ecclesiastical history.
